In this shop, gas turbine hot parts go through coating and finishing processes. These coatings, which are used in the new generation of turbines, include: Al Sealing, Abradable, Hard Facing, TBC, Common MCrAIYs, Advanced MCrAlY, Internal and External Aluminizing coatings which are employed on our new group’s product such as MAP2+ , MAP2A and MAP2B Machines for vanes and blades as well as combustion chamber components.
Coating shop is equipped with high-tech machinery including LVPS (Low Vacuum Plasma Spray), APS (Air Plasma Spray), HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel Thermal Spray Process), Pack Cementation and CVD(Chemical Vapour Deposition). In addition, other post - and pre-coating processes performed here are Sand Blasting, Atmospheric and Vacuum Heat Treatment, Ceramic & Root Peening, Assembling, TIG Welding and Vanes and Blade Sequencing.
